This Collection was established at the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi Ghana.

It includes samples collected as part of the project “Lymphatic Filariasis–Malaria Coinfection and Microbiota in Ghanaian Children”.

It entails:

• 33 skin swabs from lymphatic filariasis patients and healthy controls
• 74 stool samples from school-aged children in lymphatic filariasis and malaria endemic communities
